I just got back from the Ignite Leadership Summit in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Oh, how fun it was!!! I went on the honors session and met so many other Chancellors Honors students. Also, I learned so much about UT’s history and traditions! Like, did you know that the checkerboard pattern is because of Ayres Hall?? I didn’t!
While at Ignite, I met great people, learned amazing things about the power of a team and how there are many different styles of leadership, and how I personally lead. At the end of the first day, I donned my best 90’s denim look for the Denim Daze Dance Party which was totally wicked!!! 🙂 It was great meeting all other leaders that are in the Honors Programs at UTK. My group worked together to speed through the ropes course in the Blue Ridge. We had fun, lost our voices, and sang Rocky Top with all our hearts over the past 3 days. This is my team and I resting after a long day of hiking hills, and completing ropes course challenges!
