This past year has taught us all to go with the flow… something I am working on in this season of my life. COVID-19 has made me aware of how my community and its health are important to me so I have added a minor in Public Health.
Fall 2020
- Phys 221: Elements of Physics I
- This course introduced key physics concepts.
- Math 115: Statistical Reasoning
- This course introduced key statistics concepts needed for the evaluation of data for significance and importance.
- Pubh 201: Introduction to Public Health
- I first took this class to learn more about the field of public health since COVID-19 was such a big deal but soon found myself excited about all the topics in Public Health!
- Psyc 295: Psychological Research Methods
- In this course, I was exposed to the variety of methods and topics covered in psychological research.
Spring 2021
- Psyc 300: Child Development
- It was so interesting to learn about how the brain develops in children and how childhood impacts adult life.
- Pubh 202: Introduction to Epidemiology
- I enjoyed learning more about epidemiology and its history. This course has given me ideas for my capstone project.
- Psyc 360: Social Psychology
- I thought this was a fun class looking at how people and groups of people interact.
- Bcmb 311: Advanced Cellular Biology (honors)
- This course took a deeper look at cellular biology and its processes
- Phys 211: Elements of Physics II
- This course continued introducing and applying key physics concepts.
